Crossbreds

Many african cichlids can crossbreed. Sometimes naturally.

Most Central Americans can crossbreed. Sometimes naturally. Flowerhorns, Blood Parrots, Rosequeens, Galaxies are all CA hybrids.

Closely related species of livebearers, bettas, discus, angelfish and (supposedly) severums can crossbreed. In fact most standard LFS stock of these guys are hybrids, or descendants thereof.

Any specific reason you're asking? If you are interested in trying it out, I'd suggest going the CA route. With the diverse morphologies, some of the progeny can be very interesting.

Green Texas Cichlids and Convict Cichlids tend to attempt to crossbreed most often. They'll probably be the easiest to use to attempt to crossbreed.

There is a whole thread on cichlid hybrid rules in the hybrid section. Centrals are probably the easiest group to hybrid since they can basically breed with any other central.
