Hello everyone...I have very good news. For those of you that have been following "THE CRUD TANK" saga, peace is back in the water.
When all of the wood was taken out of the tank and the fish were left, the catfish was still on the rampage. My friend was watching the tank started yelling for me. "Come back the catfish has gone crazy!!! It's attacking everything and the fish can't swim fast enough to get away!!!"
Sure enough, I came back in and saw the cat chasing the fish relentlessly.
I had gone fishing again and brought back a few. So I rearranged the tank, acclimated the new fish and eventually put everyone in the tank.
The cat has officially calmed down and is very happy with it's new spot. The green that lost it's "I'm the Boss" title is King again amongst the "Smaller crowd." "Big Blue" is no longer the biggest. There is a new "Monster" in the tank. I didn't realize how big it was until I saw in the tank. From what I could see it's at least 8 inches or larger. I also have a "Pipsqueak" in the tank with with big boys. You can't tell the small fish it's not big, it runs the top right section of the tank. The Warmouths are holding their own.
Here are some pics:
