Well I am away from my place for 2.5 weeks... I had some great people check on it at least. I just got a phone call saying one of my tanks is leaking... I guess at most 30 gallons of water on the floor, maybe 20 if I am lucky. But it has been leaking likely for a few days... meaning soaked carpets. At least the people who checked on my fish are very capable, and are moving my fish over to some of my other tanks for now.

It just means now I need to find a new tank. (Hopefully acrylic 180 long) quickly in Atlanta...

And I get to hope my apartment isn't really messed up.

yikes. Good luck. Any insurance to cover the apt damage?

Heh, seeing as it was wet for likely 2 or 3 days... And yes I know mold and stuff gets set in. I doubt the carpet will get replaced unless I notice a smell. As for insurance well I have extra insurance I don't know if it covers a slow leak though. (I asked for water insurance from a fish tank though and paid for it.)

I would think that you should be covered then.
