Crushed coral to slowly raise ph, or don't worry about it?

Hello all,

I'm concerned that my low ph level could be a problem. The tank has been running for 2 years, 25-30% pwc 2x a week. My ammonia, ph, and nitrate test tubes are all the same shade of yellow. 0 ammonia, 6 ph, 0 nitrates. Tapwater registers 7.4 and tests the same after sitting for 24hrs. After a pwc the ph reads about 6.8, but drops back to 6 after a few days. KH and GH are both around 3 degrees.

The tank stock list is in my signature. Should I try and slowly raise the ph, or just leave it alone? All the fish are happy and healthy.

just leave it. your tap water seems to be naturally softer than usual but you only need to worry when it drops below 5. adding the crush coral will also cause fluctuations in the ph whenever you change water.

I have coral in mine and it stays around 8.2 but you do have to add buffer during every water change(expensive). Like said if fish are doing good just leave it.
