I currently have a 55g that has crushed coral as substrate. I'm planning on growing out 6 red tiger motas in it (they are arriving tomorrow). Now From what I understand, crushed coral prevents fluctuations in Ph and doesn't actually alter it. Is this true?
Would crushed coral be suitable substrate to grow these motas out in or should I be swapping it out for regular old gravel?
