crushed coral

i just dumped crushed coral into my tank how long would it take to settle?

did you wash it out? just so you know it does buffer the water, and will raise your ph. I once put a sock full of crushed coral in my filter without washing it out well, and my water was cloudy for weeks. Took a lot of waterchanges to clear it up
