Finally got a pair from the nine I grew out from 1/2". Looks like I might only have one female

I removed them from the group and put them in the 26g. Here they are courting.

These guys are getting along and doing a reat job for first timers. I love the breeding colors and black eyes.

Very nice. Where did you get these from? There are some available locally but I'm not convinced they're the real deal yet.

No more fry left today. I did no intervening or feeding. I just let them get experience.

Male is chasing the female and anything else that swims (only neons in there).

In not breeding colors, the females dorsal is orange.

I'm still learning with these guys. I will see how nasty the male stays in this little 24" tank.
