Against the odds the pair I picked up a month ago has managed to keep their progeny alive in the community 210. I have neither the time nor inclination to try to pull them and raise them in their own tank (maybe down the road), and assume they'll all get picked off (though so far the parents have been amazing).

Just tossing this out there but if anyone has the desire to come to Woodburn and take my two week old free swimming fry they're welcome to them. The fry are still very small. Pretty rare fish, endangered in the wild (on CARES), smaller growing, hardy.

I will take them. I am up in Vancouver, WA and would not be able to come get them until tomorrow afternoon. I could probably get out there around 2 o'clock or so tomorrow. Let me know if that is okay.

That will work, I actually have tomorrow off (first day in 6 weeks...) and am just working on writing a paper all day (yay). Just to clarify, these are only 3 week old fry, two weeks free swimming. Quite small. No guarantee that they'll transport well, I'd just feel bad seeing them get picked off in the community tank. Should be able to siphon them out of the tank pretty easily. I'll PM you my address and number.

I am so excited about getting these little guys. I have raised up some Satanoperca and Guianacara fry before so hopefully I will have some luck with these guys too!! :0) See you tomorrow.

I shipped 4 pairs out to Tennessee, then two more pairs got shipped from there, one to Maryland. So you might start seeing them locally. Dogofwar got the pair...
