Hey everyone.
Welcome to my first post on the forum.
It's nice to know there are other enthusiasts out there. After snooping through the albums I am humbled; there are some beautiful fish and tanks out there!
Here's my deal. 4 years ago, I bought a sajica for my 20gal planted, with the full intention of moving him to a larger home when I had the room. I now have the room and a 55 planted community tank. Everything is perfect; plants, schoolers, even the grumpy old pleco gets along with everyone. Now that everything is settled I can't find my sajica a female... or another sajica at all for that matter, anywhere. It seams that Ontario just doesn't have them.
My boy is turning out to be a beautiful male and I really do want a female for him.
Also, a friend of mine from work is just getting back into keeping large aquariums and after seeing my male, really wants a pair of them (who could blame him, right?).
If anyone has any ideas on where I could find a couple females and a male, I'd be highly grateful. Growing out from fry isn't a problem, I have multiple tank syndrome. ;P
Thanks!
NastyT.
