I am almost possitive that my fish have crypto as no treatments work. They clearly have an internal parasite of some sort and ive used almost all the treatments. I notice the fish with clear and white feces. Also I notice my wolf goby and senegalus throw up a good amount of times. They've been like this for a year plus. I had three leopard geckos that did have crypto so Im thinking it got into my fish tanks. or the tanks gave it to my geckos. I know there is no cure for crypto. another issue is the water has a brown tint too it which im thinking is maybe caused by diarhea from the fish. Has anyone had any experience with crypto affecting their fish? any advice would help.

Im thinking the only cure would be is to rip down the three tanks and euthanize all of the fish( some which ive had for 3+ years). I know uv sterilizers kill crypto but it would still be alive in the fish. Running out of ideas and am quite frustrated.

You could try putting some pellets in a small cup and add some distilled water and then add a anti-parisitec medication and stir it up and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator so it gets saturated and the pellets absorb the medicated water and then try feeding it to the fish as well as a anti-parisetic medicine in the water. It just might work. As far as the brown water it could be driftwood causing it if you have any in your tank, good luck. Keep feeding them the medicated food until they get better, you can keep the food you don't use in the fridge until you feed them next. Just don't overfeed with the pellets because it will really fill them up and if you overfeed them too much they could develop the BLOAT. You don't want BLOAT believe me.

il give that a try. I had driftwood in the tanks for years but took them out a few months ago to get rid of the brown tint. and the tint hasnt really gone away.

Ive probably done atleast 8-10 50%+ w/c's since then, this is why I think its from the fish and not the wood. After the water change its clear but in 3-5 days it gets the tint back to it.
