I recently bought a aquaon mega flow 210 fish tank (72x24x29). I have it running for one week now but there are small particles in the water and brown algae. I have a Eshopps WD300 sumó system but it doesn’t seem to catch the small Particles. What is the best method for crystal clear water??? Does poly fill and quilt batting work? How would I set that up in my WD system. Pls help!!!

Also have two bags of carbon in between WD tray and bio balls (10g). Ehiem 5000 compact pump. I’m thinking of using air stone to get better cicrculation in the tank so the small particles to filter through the drain pipes. It’s really bugging me I want clear water!!

put a couple AC110 on it with pre-filters sponges. and pre-filter sponges on all intakes. they will need to be rinced every week or at every water change but will go along way to removing particles and keeping your filters cleaner.

Could you post a picture of the filtration system/set up?

Don't worry about the algae, it is common in new set ups.

Small particles is either due to inadequate filtration or inadequate flow distributuion/chaotic flow in the tank.

The best mechanical filtration is medium sponges. Floss is no good in my opinion because once clogged, it will backfire the particles in the water.
