This isn't really a DIY project although it would use plenty of DIY skills to pull off. In any case...here it goes..

Get A LIFE sized human skeleton (fake of course and without metal connectors so dont steal the one out of the biology room...) and lay it out...face up in the bottom of the tank. Now add a thin substrait and a few plants to give the impression it's been there for years. Add a few non toxic personal details (clues) and you have a fantastic theam for a monster tank.

Not my style.. but it's an interesting idea.

I like the idea, might be a bit morbid but will definetly get the guests attention. Talk about a conversation piece. Any ideas how to actually get the bones in place?

Thats funny, I was going to do that in my 600, but the wife dont want to.

cool but that would freak me out and your guest would be to busy looking at that than the fish

My idea at one time was to change a casket into a tank using fiberglass. Lay a full sized skeleton in it and stock it with piranhas. Then put a piece of glass over the top and it would be my new coffee table.

*patent pending* lol

Thats a cool Idea. I want to do that with a sand substrate and kind of bury the bones a little. I think its a cool idea for an agressive fish tank.

Now I want to do that in a 180 and out a jardini in it.

LOL not bad Joe... Human skeleton...animal skull of some sort...
