Hi all! I just bought a tiny(1.5 in.)C. Huejta at my LFS. I know they usually need live food, but he's so tiny i think it'll be hard to find live food for him, so i'm going to try to get him to eat frozen bloodworms. Any way to coax him to eat the bloodworms? And if he won't eat frozen food, are there any livefoods other than guppy fry that he could eat? I'm worried about what i'm going to feed him, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i have 2 of them
at around 4 inches
they eat anything
besides pelets
they eat frozen bloodworms
rosies
and freeze dried shrimp without a problem
didnt have to teach em nothin

not true gar, i think you'll find more enthusiestic replies in the general freashwater forum:)

I have one that eats bloodworms. I had no problems converting, if its hungry it will eat them. They arn't hard to convert to frozen at all.

I had 2 a while back that fed almost exclusively on flakes but from what I read this is very unlikely
