Ok. So since many wonder whether it is possible to train Hujetas to feed pellet food, I have uploaded a video for reference.

First you have to train them away from live food. Select options like shrimps, frozen food etc. Then slowly introduce them to pellets. (High protein pellets are recommended)

Once you train them to pellets, it becomes even easier to care for these amazing fish.

Im amaze, i got them off live feeders into tilapia fillet but never into pellets, i even tried the hikari food stick but no success. Great job.

Try starving them for about 3 days.

It was very tough to get them ino pallets. But it's worth the try. Use high protein pellets.

These are amaazing fish. Especially the way they hunt.
