I saw a few photos in one of my fish books, and wanted to get one when i was first setting up my 55, but no lfs could get one. I found them for five bucks in tdf. I know they are closely related to amazon leaf fish, and they have a giant strechable mouth that can such fish in. Could you help be with more info? I will get this along with a small aro, angelicus botia, 10" gacillus pictus, 6" acara, 2 small blood parrots and a tire track eel

Do you have any Petsmarts in your area? Usually I wouldn't buy there but they are the only ones that I've seen around that have any. Right now they have a tank full at $8.

I have one. How big are the aro and eel as usually Ctenopoma are sold at around 1 1/2 - 2" in size and might become lunch.
The tire track eel is 5" on arrival. The arowana is from TFD and they just have marked as SMALL, so I imagine just a few weeks after obsorbsion of there egg sacks. If it is to small for the tank then I can put in into a 45L for growout (same gos for the leopard). In the summer there will be 180 if i can get a good deal, a 125 if i can't get a 180

;) Ok, its a good thing they like planted tanks. that gives be even mre reson to go crazy with the cheap plants the online store has

tfd is out of them and won't be getting anymore anytime soon

when i was talking to him on the phone today i asked why they weren't on his inventory list anymore and he said he just sold out and tried to order some more but they wren't on his order list anymore
