Has anyone here ever kept this fish? It looks like an awesome predator that I could keep in my 36 gallon bowl front. I have never seen this fish for sale though. Who would be the best bet in order to get this fish?

I had a nice group of them i got fairly cheap £4 each, they do look really good under the right light and despite what you read can be converted onto pellets.
Just note: they don't all look so good. Specimens that i've seen have stripes on their fins but not their bodies. I had my heart set on keeping these a few years back but lost interest when I found out more about their overall behavior and breeding requirements. Definitely the prettiest of the labyrinth fish though, and a predator.
i got outbid on aquabid once, then i gave up looking for em cuz i needed fish quick for my college dorm tank. xD but if i remember right, anubias design said he might bring some in october..... it seems like it was available accordin to rehoboth toyin's stock list... but not sure...
