Cu455 got a pair of Cichla

For the past few months I have been looking for some decent size Cichla. Yesterday my LFS had a lair around 6 inches. They are very skinny and ate some minnows. Today I feed some sinking pellets and one showed a little interest in them. My powerhead did not give the fish enough time to get it.

I wanted to get better pictures but I treated the tank with bifuran so my water is yellow.

 
They look like occels. Is that a turtle in your tank? Your going to have a hard time keeping that tank big fish friendly. Your going to have way too much ammonia in there and your nitrates are going to go thought the roof
 
There's quite a few moving parts in there with crawfish,turtles and cichla.
 
There used to be a frog too but it escaped.

I finished my bifuran treatment and did a water change. The yellow cleared up. I added carbon so my water should be clearer tomorrow and I will get some better pictures. Any idea what they are? I am pretty sure at least 1 has red eyes.

Their occels you should power feed them just to get there weight up I just got 2 about a week or so ago same size and very skinny I live in Brooklyn so we probably got them from the same distributor .IV been looking for some real ones for a long time everyone are selling monos under that name especially the ones from puru
