I have the tank setup pretty well, the top is the only issue (It's a piece of cardboard and a tank light, has Grow Bulb, produces heat as well). Any way, we were leaving the house and heading to Mote Marine for the day when I saw on my neighbor's mail box a female brown cuban anole, so I jumped out of the car and with a little of chasing caught the lizard and ran up to our house and put her in with the male cuban. I was worried that she might get hurt, but I had to leave. I came back to find them both on a branch together and he seems to be courting maybe? He is almost TOTALLY black and is puffed up.

Any way just sharing. Sorry some of the pictures are blurry.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks, I'm sorry but what do you mean by viv? vivarium?

Also, the female got up into the light and I couldn't find her and when I took it off to get a better look she bolted and is somewhere in my garage. -.-

Any ideas on catching her? I have been looking everywhere and I still can't find her. I was thinking I could put a heat lamp in an open area of the garage with a plant under it and see if she will come out and get on it.

yes, i've done that before.

I have an anole trap that is nothing more than a bucket of water. I am constantly finding them stuck in it. I usually save the (now rare) green ones and feed the cubans to the big catfish in the pond right out back. Seriously, you need to come to Gville, I can't go 10 feet without seeing a cuban or brown anole.
