Cuban anole

I had one a while back. Nice looking lizard but very mean.

I personally would keep him. I would love to get some again but just have not been able to find them any where.

And they do bite hard.

The only time that I have kept the knight anoles would be at a pet store that I worked at for a few months. Thy readily took insects but I am pretty sure that they were long term captives. I think that they are very cool lizards though and I would definitely keep them, I am sure that there are some good care sheets for them since they are not exactly rare.

THese guys are VERY fun to keep:D Just keep a eye on him to make shure he has recovered well. Since you live in florida the easiest way for you to keep and also to make the transicion to captivity as smood as possible, would be for you to build him a outdoor enclosure packed with plants, as soon as the weather warms up, no electric bills related to the lizard most of the time and reall fun to wach natural behaviors

Nothing like a big Green Anole the size of your arm floating around.......But, it'll either live or die.........They eat Brown Anoles almost exclusively, and some never get the concept of eating bugs......Easy to keep though, just let it bite you once, and you'll respect it even more.......

"just let it bite you once, and you'll respect it even more......"

lol true

Thats all I ever see them eat around here only brown anoles but pet store sold types which must be WC eat crickets.

I'd say around maybe 5 out of 10 Adults may take bugs, Hatchlings fare better, but even then, their still Lizard eaters straight out of the egg....

I love them remind me of aliens and agree with you thats all I have seen them go after while on the ground or yard wall. Only brown anoles not the greens on branches .

I caught one 2 yrs ago not big either it bit me as it swung its head side ways :WHOA:. I let it go lol and never bothered them again.

"Should I just have my friend take the little dude back to Ft. Lauderdale and let him go? "
