cuban cichlid attempting to breed w/ red devil (male)

just want to say any input would be greatly appreciated. i just put them together in there own tank after they paired in my community cichlid tank. the male red devil is approx. 6"-7" and my female cuban cichlid is 8"-9".... they have a large cave that the cuban digs out.... they swim around and the cuban follows the red devil everywhere almost kind of coralling him into there cave swimming aggressivley all around him but is never mean... i will update to see what happens...
