Buddy of mine at work was thinking about getting a tank and taking one of my cubans. Would a 55gal be big enough for one cuban? I've read 55 or 75 and I dont want to point him in the wrong direction. Thanks.

I personally think that 75 would suit the fish much better but people keep things like jags in 125gallon tanks so I don't think it would be the WORST thing in the world. Again though I would reccomend a 75. that extra width makes a world of difference.

You could probably do a single female in the tank, mine is about 4 years old and isn't over 6" I don't think. But the females really aren't that great looking. Males would be too big for sure.
