Trying to breed my pair of Cubans and I'm thinking of dedicating my 90 gallon tank to the pair. They about four inches right now? Do you think the tank will be big enough for the pair?

I think it would work. I have mine in a 120 split and they do just fine.

So split the tank don't keep them together to swin free. So far no problems with them but they are in another tank with other fish?

should be good but keep a divider on hand...i have a 10 inch rtm and a 8 inch loisellei paired in a 75 ..it was divided for a while due to aggression then after a few months i removed the divider and every thing has ben good sense..

Thanks they are currently in a 125 with some flowerhorn/texas hybreds and they don't fight. Haven't started any type of breeding rituals but they are currently both under 6 inches. Hoping the move prompts them to do so.

A 90 should work but keep a divider on hand as stated above. How do you know that they are a pair? Have they laid eggs that hatched before?
