tropicals. i find them better looking! lots of pattern variation, and some of the specimens i've seen in japan are absolutely gorgeous!!

cubans all pretty much look the same, but it's still my second favorite, followed by shortnose.

Which one is harder to obtain in the USA? Does anybody know?

well they both have to be specially imported, so they are not fish that vendors normally stock, meaning when a vendor decides to bring in a shipment, jump on it if you want one.

having said that, in the US, cubans are harder to get as of now, and are more expensive.

Cubans are harder to find anywhere and cost more, but they are my favorite behind gators and florida/spotted..
