Was transfering my 3 largest cubans today. Snapped a pic of them and 2 of my floridas while dripping them to the new tank.

For reference the cubans are 16 3/8", 16 1/4" and 15 1/4".

Thanks both of you. How are you cubans doing?

I'm hoping with these gars out I can bulk up my smaller 3 cubans.

my cuban is doing well. still likes to hang at the top, more then any of my other gars, but i think it it because it is still only 12". i relized that my dat was picking on it so the dat got moved into the vatf tank. hopefully this will get the cuban more active in the tank.

Nice! you can ship that box my way... lol

Lol, that would be backwards. More like send your cuban my way, he needs some buddies.

That's interesting, I find my cubans usually rest on the bottom. Good thing you caught on to the aggression. That would suck to lose a cuban to a dat.

since i have redone the tank it is more active. it does spend about 60% of the time at the surface. it rests on the bottom after eating. it does like to hide amoung the plants now. i would have eaten the dat with garlic butter! i already lost one cuban to a florida growout. it is the smaller dark spotted fish in my main tank. i found some milfoil looking plants i can't remember the name, but i'll have to find it. the gars seem to like it a lot. they stage around it, i'll be adding more to the tank as i like it also.

lol jaws does need some more cuban buddies... one day.. they do look awesome, nj with your group. have to say he does also spend alot of time on the bottom.. usually chilling out where i feed.. lol...
