So I had 6 Cuckoo Catfish until about an hour ago. They have almost destroyed my usually very happy and friendly Tandanus Catifsh which I had since very small and was just over 30cm. The cuckoo's were fairly small, maybe 5-6 cm each. He has damage all up and down his sides and since I was able to move him to another tank, has just got a hernia. He is still hanging on, but I hope he can make a recovery!
I cannot find anything on cuckoo's to suggest they would be destructive in any way. What did I miss?
I have given the cuckoo's to a LFS. There is another Tandanus in my tank, so he most likely would have been next target.
