Cucumber??

hey everyone will cucumber cloud my water. i had some left over and wanted to feed it to my pleco and cats...

Only if you leave it in for a few days so that it will decompose.

slice length ways about 1/2 " thick wiegh it down with a fork. try stuffing some pellets in it they will love it.

My plecos like zuchini stuffed with pellets (massivore, sinking carnivore, NLS, shrimp pellets, etc etc). I have carnivorous plecos though...be careful about feeding too much protein to omni/herbivores..

It might take a few feedings for it to realize its food. I take out whatever is left over after about 12-24 hours. To prepare, I just rinse it.

I nuke cucumber slices for a few seconds then rinse them with cold water. It softens it up a bit. Then I feed it to my snails and cichlids, they love it.

thanks everyone i think im goin to microwave it abit cause the raw stuf was to stiff for my fish
