Hi there, anyone have any suggestions on how to curb / reduce aggression between my indo dats? Specifically, we have 3 IT's in a 60 gal grow tank. The largest one is about 4 inches (he is the one chasing the other 2), one at 3.5 inches, smallest guy at 2.5 inches (he has been pushed to the corners of the tank, perches all day, very shy). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

more dats lol . seems as though its 1 dat or 4 or even more for them to get along . I had a hard time getting 2 and 3 to work but now i have 5 and its a lil better

Display of dominance amongst tigers often happens in a small group of three. I had this challenge before but when I added some black bar silver dollars of the same size, my tigers aggression stopped.

You can add a driftwood or lots of hiding places. Also I've noticed that having a larger aro in the tank with dats mellows them out and gets them swimming around. If all else fails, add more dats

thanks for the help,. The tank is mostly planted with driftwood, and many hiding and perching spots. I think i'll pick up a couple more to address this. You guys think 5 total would be ok, or more? Also, these dats will ultimately end up in a 210 gallon tank. Is that a sufficient size tank for 5-6 dats full grown? (note: tank mates would be a florida spotted gar & 3 clown loaches)

tank size is good but its gonna be a long time for them to grow that size i have 4 and they fight but once i add in some more they stop fighting

jad the same problem,ad more dats and it wil be fine.
