Thought I would share a couple of celebratory pics of a recently cured friend - had ich 4 days ago - now hopefully all cleared up. Please enjoy.

Awesome. What type of medication did you use?
A product from API called Super Ich Cure Powder - very simple to use, amazing results. I will finish the treatment today when I do a water change.

he looks in good condition
Thanks! I'm glad he was able to kick the ich!

Nice, glad it cleared up, I'm a sucker for chemicals. The ones for Ich I've used have been very effective and safe but I might try the heat method next time.

Thanks. API recommends that you raise the temp to 82F to speed up the life cycle of the parasite - this can only help. From what I understand, the chemical(Malachite green) only affects the free-swimming stage. I also added some salt as usual. Can't tell you what a relief it was to have this guy back healthy again & none of my others ill.
