Curing Rocks

I have a freshwater tank with an angel, 3 glass cats, a pleco, 3 cory cats, and a pictus. I was curious on how to take a rock from a nearby stream and make it safe to put in my tank, any suggestions?

Boiling water, bleach, let it soak for a few days.
also test with vinegar, if it bubbles it will raise the pH

First thing i do is scrub evrythin i get from outside with a wire brush rocks, wood anythin. Then i boil, soak in hot water and the tiniest amount of bleech, rinse a couple times, throw in tank

You guys go crazy... I just lightly rinse rocks under warm/hot water in the bath tub and then I add them to the tank. Never had an issue.

Haha thats what i have been doing for many years now and i have never had a problem but maybe were lucky

I used to do that too but rather safe than sorry
