Curly whiskers?

one of my tsn is having curly whiskers.. any ideas why?

I had this problem once with a bolt cat.. turned out to be an underlying case of Ich.. I think from poor water quality. I also think I had too much current in the tank and nowhere for him to hide.

my other tsn is perfectly fine, and they are hiding under the driftwood most of the time
