Even though I'm battling ick in my tank the plants are flourishing.

Thanks. So far the only ones taking it hard are my loaches. I ended up losing one of my largest ones. But things to seem to be getting better now.
Battling ich in a planted tank just sux!!!! Because any ich medication like rid ich can harm the plants, and even the salt method can harm them...
What I do to avoid an ich outbreak is I keep my planted tank at 80* year round, and by doing so it lessens the chance of getting ich.
