I sell this at my work all day...I like them bcz there cheap ...depending on the tank size but if u want more features do the pro one

I've got a couple of 48" fixtures on my 180 , even though the tanks 6ft long the 4ft fixture sems to be enough IMO its very bright , the sat + has alsorts of cool features such as weather settings and dimmable moods , you are best getting the ramp timer with your light as it can be set to a dusk /dawn setting where the light dims up and down gradually when turning off and on simulating the sun.
All in all I've been very happy with the lights and seem to be great value for money compared to other manufactures on the market , and I would defo buy another in the future .

Awesome lights, but I ended up going Finnex Planted+ 24/7. Brighter, whiter, with a cool setting that has the light constantly changing for a 24 hour light cycle. My fish seem to enjoy it as different species are active at different times of the day. That natural aspect is tough to beat.

all in all i was going to get the pro +... since the light are brighter than it's 1st generation of light.. i have a 300 Deep Dimension so it's 27" tall.. i have 27" arowana, 3 datnoids, and 1 marble motoro pup.. i don't turn on the light very often but i only turn it on when viewing fish.. i have heard and read that with very intense lighting it's not good for arowana fish since their top swimmers which will damage their eyes so causes drop eye..

I have the + on my tanks. 3-48" ones on my 750. And one 48" on my 315. One 48" is not enough on the 315. I'll end up getting one more I love the light after spending a lot of money on all different t8 bulbs, running NAN lights and trying a monster t5 setup, I am happiest with my choice to run these Plus you can really tweak the color spectrum to get exactly the look youre going for

yeah.. i just burnt out my T5 ballast few days ago.. i still have some more colormax around and the plus pro isn't cheap either.. i got it down to $210 each.. or i can get the ecoxotic E-series full spectrum LED E-90.. that cost less but uses more watts per LED to luminate.. lately i find aquarium equipment are getting up there...

This is the one I have. I think they were about $75 ea. they stick on your existing light strip or I made aluminum reflectors that I stuck the LED strips on

I use a 48" Finnex Planted Plus 24/7 on our 300 gallon Deep Dimension tank and a 30" one on our 29 gallon quarantine tank. I love being able to have a true 24 hour light cycle.

to me the 24/7 light cycle isn't useful for me since i have use the light during viewing and very little during feeding.. i have fish's eyes that's very sensitive to high intense lights so i try to eliminated the lights on all together.. few years back i got these T5s twin bulb cost a fortune and i hate to let them go since when i place online fish store orders i like to have things extra..for replacements..
