Can i put 4 Hoplias curupira in a 1200L tank to form a pair? Or i need more space fore them?
 
Well how do they breed? What do i need how big tank to breed curupira
 
I don't think anyone has bred blacks tbh. Very likely kill each other. Use the search function, oneguy managed 9months.
Try is and see if a pair Forms but have a divider at the ready.

Ohh.. okey i think it does not worth the risk cause the price for this fish here is high enough. Maybe i ll stay in mala idea or if i am lucky and find aimara
 
Only wolf bred was mala, by a guy in Germany. Curu are rarely successful with any other wolf. Think I only seen one guy do it with multiple Hoplias. Tank was kinda overstocked imo and he ended up selling the wolves off not sure if it's because they didn't get along or not.
 
If you can't afford to take a loss do not try it. But I will be doing a black wolf breeding project soon as they are becoming fairly cheap where I am. Malas have been breed multiple times in the US and they have been breed in a 135 gallon wolf community also.

What do you mean community? I mean its a 135 with many malas or with some other species too?
