curved spine

Hi everyone
2 of my orinocensis seem to have curved spines? they are still feeding well and swimming ok just wondered if i should remove them from the rest of my grow ons,they are 3 1/2 inches. Should i be worried?

Was it always like that or did this just happen? Kois get scoliosis (curved spine) from stray electrical current or vitamin C deficiency. Certain meds (organophosphates) also affect their muscles.

hi kendragon thanks ther wos a led light/air pump that was jammed up i have removed it .i have 6 orinocensis that i think originaly came from rapps and 10 ocellaris but only the orino seem to be effected.3 out of the 6 are effeceted by this. they are currently fed on shrimp and blood worms

Did they always have curved spines or were they strait at one time ?

Did you get them from Rapps for sure ?

You should mention this in the freshwater fish disease and health thread as well.

A lot of knowledgable people there as well.

I hope its not fish tuberculosis....That can be transferred to humans.
