Custom 150 Starfire Here I Come!

Well sold my 180 Gallon and all the accessories. So now I'm placing a custom tank order. The tank will be mostly made from 1/2 Starfire glass, euro braced with a single side overflow.

The measurements are gonna be 53"x30"x24" The Over flow will take up 5 inches so inside tank dimension will be 48"L X 30"W x 24" T. And sealed with Black Silicone and a metal stand. Cant wait. Gonna order it next week from a Canadian company "Bow Valley" then have it shipped to San Francisco. It'll be a awesome reef tank, and my very first custom one.

dont want acrylic. And the place I'm ordering from has a great rep with a great price. American companies dont want to compete that much for our business. Plus if it's in CA I have to pay tax

Nice! How did you find out about this place? How does the price compare to companies such as Glass Cages?

they are a bit more than glass cages, but the craftmanship is much much better. I've hard way too much negative about glass cages to use them. Bow Valley would charge like $1,100 for the same thing Glass cages charges $800 for. But for $300 I'll go with a nicer looking tank and a company that has a better track record.
