My new pond is almost complete and I am in need of help and advice.
The ponds' dimensions are 8'x4'x2'. I want to run a sump on it.
I have a 55 gallon tank that would work perfectly.
I have no experience with sumps. I do water changes every other day and would like to reduce this to 2 or three times a week. Would a 55 gallon sump be big enough for this size pond?
I want a simple design that does not require drilling the pond or the tank.
Also I want it to be safe from over flowing.
Does such a sump exist?
I have no idea how to build this so if you guys can go into specifics with me that would be beautiful. I have pre cycled media as well as a bunch of scrubbies.
One more thing. What should I use to heat this monster pond?
Thanks everyone.
