Ill post the aquarium being built and how i plan to have it set up.

i need to pre drill the holes for the sump pump/filtration design i need.

but i have no idea where to start with a sump pump design and what is needed.
especially for a Turtle/MBU puffer close to 400g. set up.
i want as much filtration as possible.

aquarium is still not built. and can hide pipes in corners, or where ever. with covers from the aquarium design place. or how ever you do the top sump overflow thing.

sorry new to all this, i have read alot. just for some reason plumbing confuses me. i know basic thats it.
i just want to make sure its all designed and done right once. i built custom homes, i like it done once and done right.

Thanks going to look into that, would a sump be the best way to set up filtration? how do i want to drill the tank, and what size holes, aswell as how big of a sump tank would i want?
and would you recomend a uv sterilizer?

are there any downsides to running sump setups?

i currently just run 2 cannister filters, and a top mount, more for airation then filter.
have no experience with anything else. first aquarium

In my garage i have large tanks the sumps creating moisture does not matter to me also some noise if this is going to bother you or just the fact that it's may be going in your house possably look into a closed loop system a chamber canister like for your media so you don't hear the water as much and have little or no moisture....

Oh and by the Way the Close loop systems They have one right now in prototype that makes use of Crushed Glass as MECHANICAL & BIO at the same time very clean and efficiant!!! I hope to soon slowly switch to these systems...

thanks, going to ask about that prototype, been talking with someone there.
really appreciate it. thanks again.
