They didn't state W of heaters but i'm assuming it would be 2x300W

does it sound like a good deal for a custom built one ?

this was the mail my friend sent me from up north of england, shes dying for a larger tank,if no could someone point us in a good tank manafactuer please
 
not sure something up in scotland, think she did a misprint, seen elsewhere she said

yea that sounds good and a bit better! thought over a grand for a tank that was not that big at all, was a bit of a joke lol
 
i was thinking the first quote seemed awfully expensive for a 4ft tank. i would check up on the heaters, size and brand. you could be getting a really cheap unreliable brand.

i will pm you a name to search for on ebay as he does custom tanks and solid wood furniture. he was reasonably priced and he delivers himself. quote your price to him for your tank and cabinet and he may try and match or beat it. he is a good guy to work with, he relocated my tank when i move from N. Yorkshire to Norfolk. he also set it up for a week at his home while i got my new house ready, like a fish B&B.

That sort of amount looks good to me, got quoted £600 for a custom 60" earlier this week with just stand and hood and same amount for a custom 72" several years ago. Needless to say i didn't buy either of them.
