Custon Cage?

Has anyone ever made a custom cage out of plywood for their herps? I was wondering if it would be a good or bad idea. If it would get nasty due to high humidity levels? Any input would be great.

Tons of people do it and there are many many ways to seal your wood from getting water logged. Some more people will chime in here i am sure

yes tons of us have done it. few off the top of my head, savanna moniter enclosures(bisixx and ken something) caiman(myself link in sig and SimonL)

tons of ways to deal with water. depends what ur planning on doin it with these. what is the plan?

I'm planning to build a 7' x 3' x 2' enclosure for a redtail boa. I haven't even gotten the snake yet, but this is what I'm planning on keeping.
