thanks. i did up the temp and add salt.

As long as the wound doesn't go big or gets moldy, then it should be fine. One of my lapradei got bitten by my south american lungfish and took a small chunk of meat on the pectoral fin and it fully healed in close to 3 weeks.

it will heal up

Ouch that looks bad, but everyone gave you great advice, the higher temps and salt and clean water will help.

If it does get infected (hazy white appearance, chronic bleeding, etc...) then get some Maracyn and Maracyn2. Actually, get them now just in case.

Wish you and the fish the best, that's a gorgeous lap btw!

Doesn't look too bad. Like everyone said...just add some salt and bump up the temp. Definitely keep an eye on it though.
