Hi i just release my 30inch Redtail Cat in a private own pond full of junk feeder fish ppl release near my office.I am sad to part with it buy i hv no choice as i stay in a small apt my tank is 6ft x 2.5 x 2.5 it eat up most of the tankmates & out grown the tank one find day tank feeling sad & stress as it get bigger. I bought it abt 3inch aft 24mth is 2.5 ft i regret buying as many ppl hv this problem in my country.Giant rtc NO public aquarium wants it even LFS & hobbyist stay away frm it for free.Hope ppl stop buying this fish even very cheap wn young.I do not wana release it in the lakes or river as it upset the eco sys. I can see more & more ppl dumping all types of giant pacu , gator gar, snake heads & many monsterfishes in my country.I hope something can be done to this unwanted pets.tks all mfk member for yr time.
