Just purchased him. First day he was shy but today he is chasing everyone(sevrums) should i be worried or will he calm down?
 
Long term, you're going to have problems. Cutteri are not nice fish, so unless your sev is a beast, its going to be pretty stressed.
 
I agree with the above posts. These guys can be rough for their size. Mine was a bully to the rest of the tank and I ended up trading him in. Nice colors on these fish though.
 
i think it will eventually act as if it were a convict, which IME will mix with a large severum long term
 
Agreed. I kept a male Cutteri in a tank of several red tiger motaguense, and it more than held its own. Think convict, and not spilurum.
 
I keep cutteri's with red devils, an amarillo, trimac, black belt, etc, etc. The have absolutely no problem holding their own. In laymens terms, they are little pricks!
 
They have often been refered to by many aquarists as 'convicts on crack' ... though just as many said they aren't quite that bad ...
