next to da beech... boyee
the chain saw lubricates the chain blades with motor oil is this something i have to worry about? the drift wood is a root system of a tree with the trunk burnt off by a camp fire. i want to chop off the burnt stump

Use an axe. I would not risk oil in any of my tanks...

use an axe. it's a little extra work, but I wouldn't worry cutting through it with an axe unless I was Ashley Olsen :). :D

The electric saw could still cause comtamination. All power cutting tools have some sort of lube on them. The only way to thouroughly "clean them is with some sort of solvent, which would be even worse for the tank.

it is a root system so if i try to chop the stump with an axe it will put all of the force from my axe chops on the roots and probably break them. i have a sawsall but i will have to go buy a long blade
