I'm sure this has been done before as they are so closely related but I have ended up with a pair male cyano female carpintis. The fry are quite brutal toward each other and I've ended up with few survivors. Anyone have any experience with the adult form of this cross? Pics would be great. How do they differ from the parents or are they so closely related there's not much difference. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thx

Shouldn't see much difference. The 2 are very closely related so I'm sure you'll have some with cyano and some with carpintis markings. That should be about the only difference you'll spot in the offspring

I have two Carpintis, skeptical of their origin, althow I must agree they are brutal toward eachother, the female his constantly harassed, her fins are torn but she's tough & rarely backs down from a confrontation,,.
