ok i want to add bacteria to my new tank and i came across this product called ''superbac'' is it any good and this is for a freshwater application my LFS swears by it and alot of there consumers as well juss let me know

if you dont have another setup going it should work fine. if you have another setup going i would just take a filter pad out of the allredy going filter and put it in the new filter and throw a bucket of your existing tank water in the new tank and top it off.

iv never had much luck with that add bacteria stuff so i don't waste my money on it any more. however never used the stuff that is being mentioned. so maybe some one else has and will post there experience.

Not the product that you are asking about but I have used some of the BB supplements and they did bring on the nitrate readings faster but then after about 10 days the ammo went ballistic, after this expeience I will cycle all new aquaria the old fashion fishless way and use some media from an established filter. yep... the "magic cycling juice" is prettymuch just that... magic... which may be cool.. but its just not real... aka... its crap..

seeding the tank using established media is the best way.. then just slowly up your bioload (add more fish)...
