So after reading the sticky I have chosen to use Method 1 with the shrimp in the pantyhose. Just placed both in the tank today any helpful tips would be appreciated so I don't screw up the cycling process. I'll have pics & updates throughout the week, thank you.

The only tip I can give is leave the lights off and let it sit. In a couple days the shrimp will start to decay. After a few days start checking you water to see what stage of the cycle you are in. It will probably take about 4 to 6 weeks to complete. When you see 0 nitrite to a 50% water change and then you are ready to add the CUC. Good luck!

Kind of off topic...but has anyone ever had any good success with Seachem Stability in cycling their tanks?
Stability is great, but not something I'd rely on for my cycle. Let it ride naturally.
Are you using all dead rock? All live? Mix?

If you're using good fully cured live rock to seed the dead, I'd leave the stability out. Just let it ride.
