How long do the BB live? I'm moving my tank 13 hours and setting it back up. Is it going to go through a cycling process?

Dont let it dry out, keep it in a bucket of tank water, should be fine.

Well it will be kinda aerated because I'll be driving around and it should slosh the water around. Hopefully I'll be fine. My main problem now is the pH is much higher where I'm moving. Maybe I'll bring some tank-water with me...

Yeah should be fine for 24 hours in tank water, You can add a AA battery air pump to keep it aerated as a back up I guess.

The ph wont effect the BB, with fish I would just fill a bucket up with it treat it with prime and slowly introduce your fish to it with some of your water, I say slowly because after the move they will be stressed if you take it to fast I believe you will be stressing them an awful lot. If its discus (going from your picture) I would go extremely slow! and bring a big batch of your water for them, I find discus are the worst getting used to new water.

Not sure how your moving, but what my friend did when he moved is got some of those green rubbish bins with lids filled them with his tank water, cut a hole in the lid for air pumps and sponge filters or air stones, then tied the bins down on the ute tray and jammed the bins with pillows so they wont shake much. Didn't lose any fish but this was a 4 hour move.

Nice. I've been trying to decide between keeping them in 5 gallon buckets or bag them up with oxygen at a pet store before I leave. The only problem is the pet stores don't open til like 9 and I was planning on leaving at like 6am. They'll be riding with me in my car while I tow a u-haul trailer with the rest of my stuff.

Thanks, I do have discus so I will drip them as slow as possible, over the course of an hour or so.

If its just one lot, I would run to a hardware store buy something with a lid to hold the heat and tape the lid on add plants just tie it in the back seat. I cant see a bag holding the heat for 13 hours and discus require hotter water so best to have a larger vol then 5g id say.

That might be good cuz then I could bring a lot of tankwater as well. They sell big black garbage bin things at the dollar general down the street.

I was just thinking people ship discus all over the world by bagging them and using oxygen and they usually survive.

I think the best will be to bag them with oxygen and a tranquilizer and put them in styrofoam boxes.
