I transported and set up a 130 gal tank with 3 fish. I was only able to take about 45 to 50 gal of the original water. I bagged all the coral base and other coral unwashed.
Thanks to you people I now have the tank at 80 degrees, ph at 8 ,salt at 1024 ,nitrate at 0.1
the tank has 1 damsel fish in it and I'd like to add my 2 yellow tangs from the holding tank.
I set up everything Dec 4,06 and would like to get a clearer picture of when the tank has finished the cycling process.

Thanking you all in advance,

Sven

you got to test the water to know when its ready. did you reuse any fitler media? it'll speed it up

Its a salt tank. It should be cycled by now if you had live rock in there. Test the water. What is ammonia and nitrite?
