I have a new 265 gallon I wanted to get cycled quick which as usual spelled disaster. I started out with half a basket of biomax from another tank and 15 feeder goldfish. I figured it should be alright since the seeded media, however in the last week and a half over half I am down to only 6 left. To make matters worse when dumping some water in to replace evaporation a cloud of white poo flew up. I am afraid they could have had some kind of parasite or disease that could be harmful down the line. I was planning on freezing them when done to kill anything that could come from consuming them and feeding them to my rbp. Could whatever they had be in the water and get my new ones sick when I get them, and is there anything I should do?
