So I have been cycling my 210 for a 8 days now. I have not seen my ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate go past 0 yet. I have had minnows and crayfish for the last 6 days now. All my fish are doing well and none have died, but I am worried my tank isn't going anywhere. I have a Marineland Model 4 sump with 2 bio wheels.

I did a partial water change yesterday, but still everything is zero.

Is it possible that this stuff is keeping my ammonia and nitrites at zero and I am slowly building nitrates?

My tank isn't cycled until I start seeing nitrates right? Will I ever see them at this point?

Are you feeding the fish while dosing with stability? (ie - providing a food source for the barterial spores in stability) yes, you should be seeing some nitrate reading. My tap doesn't even read 0 lol

I usually feed my fish after I dose stability, but not right away. I feed them probably about two hours later.

Yeah, my API test kit is still yellow for nitrates!

What if I let it go with the amount of fish I have now? Will it eventually cycle?

Yes, your nitrates will start rising. You have added the Stability correctly and now the bacteria are present and will grow as needed to meet demands.

I just cycled with stability and ammonia. Took me 5weeks for a 125g.
Just make sure your checking your water parameters every day. That's what I learned from my first fishless/stabilty cycle.

Well, I had an ammonia spike today to .50. I added a bit of Prime to detoxify this. I am still dosing with Stability daily.

im also in the process of a stability cycle for a new tank and nitrites and ammonia are zero but im getting nitrates. very happy with it so far.
